The conference commemorates the 20th anniversary of the seminal papers on
Indirect Inference of Gouriéroux, Monfort and Renault (1993) and Smith (1993) and the Efficient Methods of Moments of Gallant and Tauchen (1996).
The aim is to disseminate new research in the field,
as well as innovative interdisciplinary views on the theoretical and computational properties of these methods (in a broad sense).
Empirical applications to new economic problems and contributions from other disciplines that focus on simulation-based estimation
methods are also welcomed.
