Short-CV

Philipp Reimer is a full professor of public law, especially administrative law, at the University of Konstanz since 2020. After studying law in Hamburg and Cambridge, obtaining a doctorate from Freie University Berlin in 2008 for a thesis on the theory of the forms of state action and practicing law for a while, he worked at the University of Freiburg as a post-doc, where he received his habilitation in 2015 (thesis: Procedural Law Theory). He went on to work at the University of Bonn as an associate professor. His expertise stretches from data protection law, general administrative law and legal theory to matters of legal equality and anti-discrimination law.
