Info meetings for international exchange students
The International Office offers a multitude of information meetings held in English every semester for all international students of the University of Konstanz on different current topics.
Winter Semester 2022/2023
This semester, all information meetings will once again be held on campus and often the same information meeting will be held twice to make sure it fits well into your class schedule.
Additionally, due to the still uncertain Corona situation and the current energy crisis, the events will be live streamed and recorded.

X1) Uni-Liga Konstanz (soccer: mixed indoor tournament): introduction and teaming up

Topics of the event
The university's mixed soccer winter season (6-a-side, max. 12 players/team) will take place indoors again at the University Sports Hall! Erasmus/International teams would add more excitement to the advanced and high level but fun league, so join in if you can play soccer!
All teams must have at least 2 female and 2 male players on the pitch in every match!
Information on the league’s rules and regulations and possibility to team up and a chance to join the tournament.
UniLiga will take place on the two Sundays, 13th & 20th November 2022 from around 14.30 until approx. 20.00.
Join our international teams "Global Players" and "Erasmus United" and lead them to glory!

X2) 23nd 3-Balls-Night (mixed indoor tournament): Introduction and teaming up

Topics of the event
The MultiSportEvent for charity is now taking place for the 23nd time will guarantee you an unforgettable time!
All teams must have at least 2 female and 2 male players on the pitch in every match!
All mixed teams (min. 6 and max. 12 players) will compete in the following games this year:
1. table tennis (with 6-10 players)
2. table soccer (with 4 players)
3. wii bowling (with 6-10 players)
4. lacrosse (with 4-10 players)
5. round net (with 6 players)
6. volleyball (with 6 players)
7. headis (with 4 players)
8. photo (all)
The 3-Balls-Night will take place on Wed, 7.12.2022 starting at 16.30 (updated on 26.10.2022)!
Join our three international teams "Erasmus United", "Global Players" and "World Wide Winners" (which are already registered for the tournament) and lead them to glory!

X3) Information on the German mandatory license fee (Rundfunkbeitrag)

Topics of the event
Every adult (18 years and older) registered in Germany is obliged to register for the license fee for the public-service broadcasting. Every household has to pay the fee (18,36 Euro per month).
You have received a letter from ARD, ZDF, Deutschlandradio Beitragsservice? Your flatmate is collecting a share of the license fee from you? One flatmate even claims to not having to pay the fees? What is it all about? All answers to these and more questions can be found here.

Full name and "Beitragsnummer" of flatmate (in header of last letter)
X4) Assisted registration for examinations/assessments via ZEuS and creation of TAN-list

Topics of the event
If you’d like to receive ECTS (credits) or grades in courses of the department/section of Economics, History, Language Institute, Law, Literature and Linguistics, Philosophy, Politics and Public Administration, Sociology, SportScience and Transferrable Skills, then you have to register for examinations/assessments via ZEuS now (Economics: 17.-24.1.2023)!
In order to be able to do so, we will all first create a TAN-list (TAN=transaction number) for those who haven’t created one yet.
The staff of the Writing Centre will introduce the writing tutoring service and we will then register for examinations/assessments together.
Please bring/have at hand:
o laptop (if applicable) and access codes for campus WiFi/WLAN
o TAN list (if applicable) or data sheet of WiSe 2022/2023

For all international students who will leave Konstanz at the end of the winter semester 2022/2023!
You will receive all important information regarding the formalities that have to be dealt with before you return back home (e.g. important information for non-EU/EEA students regarding the residence permit and its expiry, how to request the Transcript of Records, your municipal de-registration and exmatriculation, etc.).
Please have at hand:
o your (Seezeit) tenancy contract
o non-EU/EEA: your passport and residence permit card/visa
