3. Purpose and scope of data processing

The data provided in the form is required for the support and counseling of students from Ukraine. Without this information, individual and adequate support cannot be provided.

In addition, data is collected in order to initiate an extension or discontinuation/termination of studies at the University of Konstanz, Seezeit rental contract extensions, possible scholarship awards in the interest of the students.

Art. 6 para. 1 lit.a) EU Basic Regulation on Data Protection (DSGVO) (consent)

5. Receiver

  • Within the University of Konstanz: Incoming Team at the International Office of the University of Konstanz, all third-party funding providers of the International Office for potential scholarships, as well as the Ukraine Support of the University of Konstanz for the best possible support, as well as the Department of Studies and Teaching and the team of Studying in Asylum. 
  • Disclosure of data to third parties: The staff of the International Office will forward the residence extension application to Seezeit in case of a residence extension request.

6. Duration of storage

The personal data of the person concerned will be deleted 12 months after the end of studies at the University of Konstanz.

7. Your rights

  • You have the right to obtain information from the University of Konstanz about the personal data stored about you in accordance with Article 15 DSGVO and/or to have incorrectly stored personal data corrected in accordance with Article 16 DSGVO.
  • In addition, you have the right to deletion (Art. 17 DSGVO) or to restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO) or a right to object to processing (Art. 21 DSGVO).
  • You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation (Art. 13 DSGVO).

  • You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data relating to you is in breach of data protection regulations (Art. 77 DSGVO).
