Code of conduct regarding international students
The University of Konstanz is co-signer of the National Code of Conduct on Foreign Students at German Higher Education Institutions
By joining the national codex, the University of Konstanz professes to follow its quality standards for supporting and advising international students before and during their studies.
The goal of the code of conduct is to assure and continually improve the quality of supervision for international students. It defines, for the first time, minimum standards for the areas information and advertising, admissions, supervision and follow-up support.
International students can depend on the university to uphold these standards. These standards are currently being fulfilled at almost all German universities, with many universities clearly exceeding these standards.
The code of conduct was created and adopted in 2009 by a working group composed of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) within the framework of Gate Germany.
