Research questions regarding the three levels of nation, city, and school
- How can the understanding for different times promote 'worlds', and societies, cultivate empathy, and use experiences of the past for our togetherness in the present, using conversations with "others"?
- Can we collect the scientific findings of the causes and consequences of our current crises (such as environmental-, COVID-19-, democratical- or economical crisis), examine with regard to options of action, and transfer to the school?
- How can we educate pupils in the school subjects and supported by the educational mission of the schools (cf. the guiding principles of "building democracy" and "education for sustainable development", formal curriculum 2016 Baden Württemberg) towards being informed and critical citizens who take responsibility for themselves, for others, and for society?
- How can we support the development of the pupils towards a pro-social attitude within, and outside school (e.g. in clubs), and let it take part in shaping the personality?
