Generating TAN lists for exam registration in ZEuS
How can I generate a TAN list in ZEuS? What do I do if I have used up both of my TAN generation numbers or I lost my TAN list for exam registration?
How can I generate a TAN list in ZEuS?
You can find the initial TAN generation numbers in ZEuS at "My studies -> Study service -> Reports" in the document you can download there: "Authorization to generate initial TAN list [PDF]". It includes two TAN generation numbers and instructions on how to use them. If you want to register for the first time, you will also find your TAN generation numbers in the student data sheet the Student Service Centre (SSZ) usually sends you via mail to the address indicated in ZEuS. You can download the complete TAN list up to 20 minutes after using a TAN generation number. If you have used up both TAN generation numbers, they will no longer be listed in the aforementioned documents.
Please keep the TAN lists generated in ZEuS (50 TANs) in a safe place where you can access them later either electronically or physically (printout). You will not be able to open them later in ZEuS. If the major part of the TANs on your list has already been used (about 45), you can use one of the unused TANs to generate a new list in ZEuS.

What do I do if I have used up both of my TAN generation numbers for exam registration or I lost my TAN list?
Option 1: Go to one of the two TAN terminals at the entrance of the Student Service Centre (SSZ) on level B4. The SSZ opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:30 to 14:00 and Friday from 9:30 to 13:00. There is also another TAN terminal for generating TAN lists in the basement of the library's Info Centre (in the copy room) (access only during KIM service hours). Printouts can be made there at any copying machine in the library. To use the TAN terminals, you generally need your UniCard and your university email password.
Option 2: If you cannot come on campus, you can use the online contact form and tick the box for "unblocking a blocked TAN list for ZEuS". This way you can request that your TAN generation numbers be reset in order to generate a new TAN list. Please note that we can only process your request if it is sent from your university email account and you provide your student ID number. The same opening hours apply as for the TAN terminals in the SSZ.
Requests submitted after hours and on weekends and holidays will be processed on the next working day. For this reason, please make sure that you have a valid TAN list well before the registration deadline for your exams.
If you have any questions or technical problems, please contact the ZEuS support team.
