Trotec Speedy 360
The Speedy 360 laser cutter can be used to process various materials (e.g. plywood or acrylic). The device can be used to cut and/or engrave the materials. A detailed overview of the materials that can be used can be found in the FabLab Wiki.

Software
The laser cutter is used in conjunction with the Ruby software from Trotec. All steps from design customisation to the selection of processing parameters are carried out in this software. Simple designs (e.g. fonts or simple geometric shapes) can be created within the software. However, there are also various import formats:
- .svg and .dxf
- .jpeg and .png
- .ai and .cdr
Vector graphics can be created with the following software products, for example:
- Inkscape (open source, free of charge)
- Adobe Illustrator
- Cordel Draw Graphics Suite
