Introductory courses & Workshops
Introductory courses
In order to use the machines, you must attend the relevant introductory courses. This will give you the opportunity to use the FabLab machines independently.
The FabLab currently offers introductory courses for the following machines:
- Vinyl cutter
- CNC embroidery machine
- Laser cutter
- 3D printer
For a large number of devices and tools, no or only a short introduction is required. This applies, for example, to drills, soldering stations, 3D scanners, hand tools, sewing machines and more. An overview of the FabLab's machines and tools can be found in the Equipment section.
Workshops
Fablab Konstanz offers various workshops at regular intervals. They serve to teach additional skills that go beyond the content of the introductory courses and are not mandatory for the use of the machines. Workshop dates will be announced on the website one or two weeks beforehand.
The FabLab will be closed today, 17.07.2024, due to illness!
Open for university members on Thursday, 18.07.2024 - No introductory courses will be offered on this day!
Thursday is aimed at all university members who have already completed introductory courses. We are also available to answer any questions during this time.
The FabLab will only be open from 13:00-17:00.
