PANDOTA fund for doctoral research in the Faculty of Sciences

As a donor to the PANDOTA fund for doctoral research, Lothar Reinhold Panter (ł 2024) demonstrated not only financial generosity, but also a deep understanding of the needs and challenges of doctoral students in the Faculty of Sciences. He leaves a significant legacy for the promotion of academic excellence and equal opportunities. The word "PANDOTA" is a neologism of the donor's name and ancient Greek words. As a synonym for his unrestricted commitment, he uses the term to emphasise his deep concern to support young academics.

His legacy will be honoured in the University of Konstanz's donor showcase, where his humanitarian work will remain visible for future generations. May his inspiring example live on and inspire us all to cultivate generosity and compassion in our own lives.
