Studying is, of course, the most important thing during your time in Konstanz. But that doesn't mean there isn't much more to discover and experience. Take the opportunity to get to know fellow students from Konstanz and all over the world. Our Konstanz meets International events are an excellent way to do this!
Goal of the event series is to bring local students who went or are going abroad to one of our many international partner universities for an exchange (outgoings) and international students coming from our international partner universities for an exchange (incomings) together to meet & mingle as well as to exchange experiences, have some fun or just to get to know new exciting people from all over the world.
Everyone is welcome to join the events!

UPDATE: OriPro Beach Volleyball Cup 2024 with Grill&Chill (outdoor)!
The big volleyball tournament (cooperation between the International Office and the Academic Sports Service) takes place every semester in the framework of OriPro and OriPro Master.
Since the indoor event had to be cancelled last Friday, due to ongoing construction work inside the uni sports hall, we now have the green lights for the outdoor event!
Anyone who is interested can come and take part, whether as a player, a spectator, a fan, a griller or a chiller!
The games will be played outdoors on the beach courts of the Academic Sports Service (uniBeachKN).
If you want to have something barbecued, you must bring your own barbecue food/grillables (you can't purchase anything to barbecue)!

Participation is free of charge!
Program:
13.30-14.00: Team formation/line-up (everyone who wants to play must be present! All players will be drawn into teams!)
14.00-14.30: Joint warm-up
14.30-17.00: OriPro Beach Volleyball Cup 2024
approx. 15.30: Barbecue when the KO phase begins (bring your own barbecue food! Paper plates, wooden cutlery, napkins and fridges on site (on campus in the morning? => Fridge in G420)!
approx. 17.00: Award ceremony (great prizes!)
until approx. 19.00: Grill & Chill at the skater hut (cup deposit: 2 EUR; beer/shandy/wine/wine spritzer: 1 EUR; water, O/A juice: free)
Rules:
Teams (mixed!) consist of at least 6 to max. 8 players. There must always be at least 2 female/male players on the field in each team (mixed teams).
All students who would like to play will be drawn into teams, i.e. no teams can register as an own team.
The game is played to 15 points (with a 2-point lead) and every point counts.
Bad weather:
If the weather does not cooperate (heavy rain/storm), we will then unfortunately have to cancel the tournament (sports hall is currently not yet usable).
X-Mas Jingle & Mingle - Tue, 10.12.2024; 18.00-22.00 (uniSport Eventplatz)
Oh what fun it is to share the German Christmas traditions and the holiday spirit with guests of all nationalities!
We want to use this "magical pre-Christmas atmosphere" to celebrate the approaching Christmas season in typical German style with mulled wine, punch, delicious waffles and typical German Christmas pastries with many cozy fireplaces and friendly people from all over the world and to warm our hearts with joy, fun and friendship before many will leave us for some time in the upcoming Christmas/New Year lecture free period (23rd December 2024 - 6th January 2025).
The International Office of the University of Konstanz and the ESN Konstanz will create a tiny "Christmas market" at the backside of the University Sports Hall outdoors with many fireplaces to keep us warm.
We will also setup an International Christmas/Winter Songs Karaoke and we have also asked Santa to pay us a short visit and to give us some small Christmas gifts on the way....
⚠ Note:
Please bring your own cup/mug or a small drinks container for the Glühwein/punch for a sustainable night (or borrow a cup from us for 2 EUR deposit)!
We hope the weather condition allows us to meet at the event (fingers crossed)!
