Mixed Reality

The Microsoft HoloLens 2 is a mixed reality end device that merges reality with the virtual. For example, virtual 3D objects can be embedded in reality or interacted with. This makes it easier to, for example, explain and visualise certain facts. This is because it is possible to display most objects in their actual size as a hologram (e.g. a statue or a vehicle). In addition to the visualisation of 3D objects, this technology can offer further advantages. For example, the HoloLens 2 can be used for remote applications or training purposes (e.g. maintenance instructions).
