Funding for research in the humanities

Project funding in the humanities

The Dr. August and Annelies Karst Foundation supports the humanities at the University of Konstanz. Examples of the types of projects supported by the foundation include: research work, work on an edition, research events and exhibitions, material resources and, in well-founded exceptional cases, publication projects, e.g. translations, proofreading as well as open access funding. Projects that are in line with the sustainability strategy of the University of Konstanz are particularly welcomed.

Funding is provided upon application from the humanities at the University of Konstanz. Applications from students, doctoral candidates, post-docs and professors are welcome.

The application is to be submitted in the form of a bundled PDF document by e-mail to the Foundation's office (stiftungen@uni-konstanz.de). Please find more information in the call and in the funding guidelines.

The application deadline for the current call for proposals is Friday, 27 September 2024.
