The open research workshop format includes contributions from members of the BZQM covering general and recent topics of qualitative research. These include, for example, the relationship between empiricism, analysis and theory development, the requirements for transcription and processing of visual data, the presentation and processing of results in qualitative studies, the quality of qualitative research, ethical research issues, advantages and disadvantages of participatory action research, questions and tasks in research data management and, last but not least, the critical reflection on software solutions in data analysis.
