Natasha A. Kelly

On behalf of the European Network against Racism (ENAR), Dr. Natasha A. Kelly updated the current country report on racism in the employment sector in 2017. Based on many sources of data, official, unofficial, academic and experiential, Dr. Kelly will provide an overview of the current situation on Germany's labor market: Which rules and regulations apply against racism in the employment sector? Which "Best Practice Examples" have been implemented to counter racial discrimination in the workplace? Dr. Kelly's presentation will be followed by a Q&A session to invite the audience's perspective and to engage in discussion.

In the next day's workshop, she invites students to analyse three case studies due to understand the German situation and contextualize the labour market and its legal framework. The workshop is targeted at People of Colour who are prospective entrants into the German labor market. It serves as a platform to exchange experiences and to develop own strategies for action.
