We recently were awarded a grant by the German Chemical Industry Fund (VCI) for using augmented reality in Miriam’s solid-state chemistry lectures at the University of Konstanz. We are indebted to the Chemical Industry Fund for supporting our efforts and to our collaboration partners in this endeavor, Dr. Sabrina Syskowski and Prof. Johannes Huwer.
PD. Dr Sven Barth (Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main) visited us in January in Konstanz. He gave a talk as part of the lecture series of the Konstanz local chapter of the German Chemical Society (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker – GDCh) entitled “Nano-printing: Precursor Development and Hybrid Processes”. We thank PD Dr. Barth for an inspiring lecture on electron and ion beam induced nanoprinting techniques and many fruitful discussions!!
