24. Sportwissenschaftlicher Hochschultag der dvs 2019 – Berlin
Prof. Martina Kanning and Dr. Christina Niermann presented current research of the Social and Health Sciences workgroup.
Martina Kanning presented results of a study that investigated the association between automatic processes and sedentary behavior. In this study we developed an Implicit Association Test for sitting and standing, and explored the association between automatic affective evaluations and objectively measured sedentary behavior.
Christina Niermann presented results of a study with parent-child dyads. We examined the difference between children’s and parent’s perception of parental support, how both perceptions are related to children’s physical activity and how self-efficacy beliefs are related to parental support and children’s physical activity.
