Die Open Access-Publikationsplattform der EU „Open Research Europe“ (ORE) hat einen neuen „Guide to Open Data” veröffentlicht. Darin werden erstens verschiedene Formen von Forschungsdaten vorgestellt und zweitens Sachverhalte zum Teilen von Daten sowie Recht und Datenschutz dargelegt.

Synthetische DNA als Speichermedium der Zukunft? Diese Möglichkeit untersucht das Hightech-Forum. Anlässlich der Ergebniskonferenz verteilt das Hightech-Forum mehrere hundert Versionen des Ergebnisberichts an Bürgerinnen und Bürger – kodiert in künstlicher DNA. Mit dem Versuch soll herausgefunden werden, wie alltagstauglich künstliche DNA als Speichermedium ist.
