New paper published on the social policy attitudes of right-wing populist voters!

In a new paper published in West European Politics, Marius Busemeyer, Philip Rathgeb and Alexander Sahm analyze the social policy attitudes of the supporters of right-wing populist parties in Western Eurpoe. They argue that these individuals support a particular model of the welfare state, which combines relatively low support for social investments with strong support for social transfers for "deserving" citizens, in particular pensioners.
