Die Universität Konstanz hat ihren diesjährigen Tag der Mathematik abgesagt. Zirka 240 Schülerinnen und Schüler aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz hatten sich für den 14. März angemeldet. Aufgrund der Ausbreitung des Corona-Virus werden Veranstaltungen zurzeit erheblich reduziert. Der Schutz ihrer Mitglieder und Gäste hat für die Universität oberste Priorität.

Der nächste Tag der Mathematik findet am Samstag, 13. März 2021 statt.

Meinungsbeitrag von Friedrich Breyer in der FAZ: Eine „Bürgerversicherung“ braucht es nicht, um die Finanzierung der Krankenkassen solidarischer zu gestalten. Weder könnte sie große Einsparungen bewirken, noch wäre sie überhaupt verfassungsgemäß. Eine vernünftig umgesetzte Kopfpauschale könnte mithilfe eines steuerbasierten Sozialausgleichs wirkungsvoller umverteilen und wäre im Einklang mit der Verfassung.
