FEPSAC 2024 Conference in Innsbruck
From 15 July to 19 July 2024, the biennial conference of the European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC) took place in Innsbruck, Austria. The Chair of Social and Health Sciences was represented with a presentation as part of an invited symposium. Dr Amelie Heinrich contributed to the symposium on the topic 'Social Influence in Sport - Insights from Observational and Archival Analyses' (other speakers: Ass. Prof. Fabrizio Sors, Prof. Sabine Schaefer, Dr Fabio Richlan, Edda van Meurs) with the following presentation: 'Social Facilitation in Biathlon: Contrasting the Impact of Audience and Co-Acting Competitors on Performance'.
The congress, with around 1000 participants from 64 countries, provided an excellent platform for professional exchange and inspiration in the various areas of sport and health psychology.
