Gruia Badescu selected as founding member of the Young Network TransEurope
Congratulations to Research Fellow Gruia Badescu: He has been selected to be a founding member of the Young Network TransEurope, a new network of excellent mid-career scholars from Central and Eastern European countries, in a highly competitive process.
The Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW), the German Young Academy as well as their partner institutions, inter alia the State Minister for Eastern Germany and the European Solidarity Centre Gdansk, have now invited him to attend the conference “Reclaiming Europe” held at the European Solidarity Centre Gdansk from 13-15 October 2024.
Christoph Markschies, president of the BBAW, emphasized in his invitation: “He will gain new contacts across Europe and extend his professional networks. His attendance of the conference in Gdansk is of the highest importance, as he is part of the organising committee which is planning the event for a set of high-ranking international academics, politicians and other dignitaries and actors from civil societies across Europe.”
