Interview on compulsory attendance policies and exhaustion at the SWR: Results of the Konstanz Homeoffice Study

SWR: “Back to the office? No, thanks!” Many companies offer their employees the option of working from home. They even use it as an argument to attract new skilled workers, according to a recent Bertelsmann study. In contrast, there are companies that would prefer to oblige all employees to work from home again. Unfortunately for employees, they often suffer from symptoms of stress and exhaustion when they are no longer allowed to work from home. This is the result of a long-term study on working from home conducted by the University of Konstanz. A survey from Mainz and an interview with Florian Kunze, Professor for Organizational Behavior at the University of Konstanz.
