Professor Sebastian Findeisen and his team (Chair of Economic Policy) @ the Department of Economics are looking to hire two Student Research Assistants (15-45 hours/month).
Are you a motivated Economics (BSc/MSc) or Social and Economic Data Science or student from any field and eager to gain first-hand insight into empirical research?
Our team conducts research in applied economics on topics such as automation and digitalization, globalization, health at work, inequality, and equality of opportunity.
We are looking for two research assistants to join our team from October 2023 onwards.

Your tasks consist of:
- Literature and data research
- Gathering, preparing, and managing data
- Creating graphs and tables
- Support in the preparation of papers and presentations
- Administrative tasks
We expect you to:
- Be motivated to contribute to empirical, academic research
- Be willing to (self-)learn software (e.g., R, Stata, Python, Latex)
- Have a good command of English and a focused way of working
- At best, be interested in a longer-term position
