Konstanz / St. Gallen Joint Workshop
The 2nd Joint Konstanz/St. Gallen Workshop on Applied Microeconomics was held on September 10, this year in St. Gallen (Switzerland).
Organized by Frank Pisch (St. Gallen) and Stephan Maurer (Konstanz), this year's agenda offered a wide program from many subfields of Applied Microeconomics. Presentation topics included publication bias in academia, the role of collective bargaining in determining attitudes towards migration, the effect of birthplace diversity on team performance, and several more. The workshop offered young scholars the opportunity to present in front of a relaxed and friendly, yet helpful and constructive audience. It will be repeated next year, then again at the University of Konstanz.
