Closure of the libraries from 16.12.2020 to 11.01.2021

The state of Baden-Württemberg has decided that starting Wednesday December 16th 2020, all libraries in the state will have to close. This also affects the library of the University of Konstanz. The measure serves to protect against infection and is valid until further notice.

It applies:

  - Workstations booked via ZEuS will no longer be available to students.
  - During the period of closure, neither borrowing nor returning is possible.
  - No overdue fines will be charged.
  - Reservations will no longer be provided.
  - The digital collection of the University of Konstanz, such as e-books and e-journals, can be used as before.
  - The teaching and learning platform ILIAS as well as the cloud and other digital services will, of course, continue to be operated to the usual extent.

Document delivery until 23.12.2020 and as of 4.1.2021
The in-house scanning and delivery service KonDoc is available for students and staff. Likewise, employees can order media from the library holdings via in-house mail or for mailing to their homes.
Orders for books not available in Konstanz via the direct delivery service Subito are also possible.
Interlibrary loan orders cannot be accepted until further notice, as they cannot be picked up at the library at this time.
