New Call for Applications: Constructive Advanced Thinking 2025
Together with our sister institutes in Europe, we have launched the 2025 call for funding for research groups - Constructive Advanced Thinking - short CAT.
CAT is an open international call designed to foster interdisciplinary research teams of young promising individuals wishing to address emergent societal issues with fresh ideas.
Target group are early career researchers (PhD after 2015, group leader needs to be employed at a European institution) with an interest to form an international, interdisciplinary team of 3-5 excellent early career researchers to pursue a research project in the next 2-3 years, visiting different European Institutes for Advanced Studies (members of NetIAS) for a short visit during the project. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered. Although the programme has a strong focus on the societal relevance of the projects, it is entirely blue sky, bottom-up and non-thematic.
Deadline for applications is 15 September 2024, 15:00 CET.
