New project on intragenotypic variation
Not all traits of an organism are heritable. Biologist Lutz Becks from the University of Konstanz is investigating how non-heritable traits and the interactions between organisms affect their reproductive success, i.e. their biological fitness. The Volkswagen Foundation is funding the project with over 900,000 Euros as part of the Momentum initiative. See press release.
