New DFG research grant!
Awarded a DFG grant to carry out research on superconducting devices with 2D materials.
Research grant awarded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) to Prof. Di Bernardo as principal investigator (along with Prof. Scheer and Prof. Belzig from the University of Konstanz and Prof. Steinberg from the Racah Institute of Physics in Jerusalem) within the SPP2244 priority programme "2D Materials – Physics of van der Waals heterostructures (2DMP)".
The grant will fund a three-year-long research project (starting on 1st October 2020) aimed at understanding on the physics of novel 2D heterostructures and at developing superconducting devices based on 2D materials for low-energy supercomputing and quantum computing applications.
