Paper accepted in Small Structures

Our manuscript entitled “Covalently linked pigment@TiO2 hybrid materials by one-pot solvothermal synthesis” was accepted in Small Structures. In this work we present hybrid materials where pigment molecules and TiO2 components are synthesized and linked simultaneously. Exploiting this approach 2D lepidocrocite-like TiO2 structures spaced by covalently linked pigment molecules are obtained. Serving as a composite electrode in proof-of-concept Li-ion battery tests, the hybrid materials show a synergistic effect between the organic benzimidazole-based pigment and the inorganic TiO2 component.Congratulations first author Frank and all co-authors!
