Best Paper Award for Michael Dobbins, Rafael Labanino and Brigitte Horváth!
Rafael Labanino, Michael Dobbins and Brigitte Horváth were distinguished with the “Best Paper Award” from the Standing Group of Interest Groups of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR). In their paper entitled “The Macro-Political Context, Population Density, and Interest Group Access to Policy Makers in Central and Eastern Europe”, they explore on the basis of two new datasets the impact of democratic backsliding, organizational ecology, legislative fragmentation as well as numerous other organization-specific factors on the access of interest groups to political decision-makers in Poland, Czechia, Slovenia and Hungary.
