Survey among researchers launched: Please participate!

From 15 July to 7 August 2024, all researchers at the University of Konstanz are invited to provide feedback on the research environment. Doctoral candidates will be asked about doctoral and research conditions in the parallel doctoral candidate survey.

Doctoral candidate survey with a focus on research environment

The doctoral candidate survey at the University of Konstanz will take place from 15 July to 7 August. In order to further improve the conditions for doctoral researchers, feedback from doctoral candidates is crucial, for example on their funding, supervision and future plans. This year, doctoral candidates also have the opportunity to evaluate the general research environment at the University of Konstanz (including support services, internal research funding, core facilities). Further information on the doctoral candidate survey and the results reports of the doctoral candidate and doctoral graduate survey since 2016 can be found here.

Survey on research environment among all researchers

From 15 July to 7 August 2024, in parallel to the doctoral candidate survey, a survey will be conducted for the first time among all researchers on the research conditions at the University of Konstanz. The university management is asking for feedback on services, internal research funding and core facilities, among other things. The aim is to assess the status quo of research conditions in order to identify strengths and weaknesses and, if necessary, to initiate actions to improve the research environment. The results of this survey are also important for the application for excellence.

How can I take part?

All doctoral candidates and researchers have received an individual link to the online survey by email. If you are a doctoral candidate or researcher at the University of Konstanz and have not received a personal invitation, please contact Johanna Vogt and Fabian Knisel. They are also available to answer any questions you may have.
