We welcome our new PhD student: Yannick H. Emminger
We are very excited to welcome Yannick H. Emminger again to our group. He was already working with us in 2021 on his master thesis and is now going to research on the crystallisation of the hydrates of limestone calcined clay cements (LC3).
We are very excited to welcome Yannick H. Emminger back again to our group. He was already working with us in 2021 on his master thesis about the crystallisation of magnesium silicate hydrate under the influence of various superplasticisers. Now he'll be working on the crystallisation of the different hydrates in limestone calcined clay cements (LC3) that he'll snythezise in aqueous solutions via titration and precipitation experiments. He'll be investigating the change in crystallisation of C-S-H, C-A-S-H, ettringite, AFm and AFt phases under the influence of various superplastisicers. We wish him all the best on his research and are loking forward to his time with us in our group.
