With support of project PAGOSTE UEPA conducts the seminar with 160 participants about distant learning and cloud resources
On 29-th of May, 2020 on the basis of the Department of Information Computer Technology and Mathematics, Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy with the support of the Erasmus + project PAGOSTE held a scientific seminar "The Usage of Cloud Resources for the Organization of the Educational Process in Distance Mode", in which 160 participants took part.
On 29-th of May, 2020 on the basis of the Department of Information Computer Technology and Mathematics, Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy with the support of the Erasmus + project PAGOSTE held a methodological seminar "The Usage of Cloud Resources for the Organization of the Educational Process in Distance Mode".
Rector of UEPA, Professor, Doctor of Science Olena Kovalenko, in her speech greeted the participants of seminar and drew attention to the partnership relations between the Academy and vocational schools of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region; highlighted the problems and prospects of organizing the educational process in a distance mode.
Vice-rector of Research Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences Olexandr Kupriyanov described in details the long-term experience of the Academy in organizing online studying process and design of distance educational courses with help of educational management system Moodle.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Scientific-Methodological Center of Vocational Education in Kharkiv region and more than 10 vocational schools of Kharkiv region, as well as teachers of secondary schools and lyceums, heads of clubs of young technicians and young naturalists of Kharkiv and Poltava regions.
Professors and associate professors of the Department of "Information Computer Technologies and Mathematics" presented an overview of services for organizing of online testing (Classtime, Online Test Pad, Google Forms, Kahoot); the algorithm for work with the Google Classroom service to create, distribute and classify educational content; tools for creating educational video lectures (OBS Studio, Youtube); tools for organizing training sessions in video mode (Zoom, Skype, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, CISCO Webex, Adobe Connect, MyOwn Conference, LiteManager).
160 participants were registered to participate in the Scientific-Methodical Seminar ""The Usage of Cloud Resources for the Organization of the Educational Process in Distance Mode", among this amount 95 were constantly online. All participants of the Scientific-Methodical Seminar received Certificates.
