YERUN Open Science Awards 2023
Open for applications! The association of Young European Research Universities (YERUN) is again awarding a prize for outstanding initiatives in Open Science this year.
Building on the success of the last two years, YERUN announces the third edition of its Open Science Awards. The YERUN Open Science Awards foster and recognise outstanding Open Science initiatives within the YERUN network. The call is now open for applications, until the 5th of December.
The award addresses researchers or staff from a YERUN partner university who have been involved in initiating Open Science activities at their own institution. The award is designed to spotlight initiatives that facilitate the integration of Open Science principles into the work of the scholarly community.
Whether led by researchers, administrators or professional services, either as a team or as individuals, your initiative is eligible!
Winners will be rewarded with a monetary grant (€ 2,000) for their institution or department intended to further advance their existing Open Science endeavours or embark on new and innovative Open Science initiatives. In addition, the award-winning initiatives will be invited to showcase their work at an event organized by YERUN. All other eligible initiatives will be featured in a dedicated space on the YERUN website and in the newsletter.
