ZZF Conference in Berlin on 13 March 2023
Martin Rempe attended the conference "Kunst und Kultur nach dem Nationalsozialismus"and lectured on orchestral musicians and their professional organisation after 1945. Afterwards, he discussed with Friedrich Geiger and Detlef Giese under the moderation of Christiane Kuller.
The conference "Kunst und Kultur nach dem Nationalsozialismus. Zur NS-Aufarbeitung BKM-geförderter Institutionen - Stand und Perspektiven der Forschung" was initiated by the Federal Commissioner for Culture and the Media, Claudia Roth, and was devoted to research perspectives for the post-history of National Socialism in the field of art and culture.
With a view to museums and their associations, questions of the protection of cultural assets, institutions of music and film, as well as art associations, academics discussed the needs, methods and approaches in a growing field of research with representatives of BKM-funded institutions. Martin Rempe attended the conference and lectured on "Orchestral Musicians and their Professional Organisation after 1945". Afterwards, he discussed with Friedrich Geiger and Detlef Giese under the moderation of Christiane Kuller.
