Excursion to the German Literature Archive
On December 6, 2016, Zukunftskolleg Fellows visited the German Literature Archive (Deutsches Literaturarchiv) in Marbach am Neckar.
Ulrich Raulff, director of the German Literature Archive, had invited the Zukunftskolleg Fellows to visit the Archive in Marbach. Raulff himself has a close connection to the Zukunftskolleg: He was a member of the first Scientific Advisory Board of the Zukunftskolleg after its foundation and as such had a wide impact on its development. In October 2016, Raulff was honored with the Zukunftskolleg Lecture.
In Marbach, Ulrich Raulff welcomed the Fellows with a presentation of the German Literature Archive. The presentation was followed by a guided tour through the exhibition "Die Gabe/the gift" by the curator of the exhibition Magdalena Schanz. Later that day, the Fellows enjoyed a guided tour through the authors' libraries and the archive.
